While the Umpqua Valley is well-known for the wineries that dot the rolling hills in this part of the state, the exceptional fly fishing that is available on the North Umpqua River is another popular activity. For those feeling lucky, the Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville offers slots, gaming tables and refreshments. If hitting the links is an interest, golf can be enjoyed in nearby Myrtle Creek, just one more example of this area's abundant outdoor recreational activities.
